Megaliths in Montana, USA
Andrew Barker documented several features at the Montana Megaliths on flow charts rating and comparing these megalithic structure with hundreds of similar dolmens he has researched and classified around the world. Assigning a point system to each feature of the dolmen determines the probability of the authenticity.Andrew stated that several dolmens at the Montana Megaliths rate in the 90 percentile. Stonehenge in England only rates in the 80 percentile as we know that it has been re-built at least three times. No dolmen has earned 100 points because there are not eyewitnesses currently alive to verify how the dolmen was constructed. |

Andrew Barker, who is referred to as Dr. Dolmen, examined the Icycle Dolmen at Giant's Playground. He then charted several dolmens in the MM on his spread sheets which is a scientific authenticy scale he developed to rate dolmens all around the world.
Andrew concluded that several of the dolmens here rated in the 90 percentile as they have not been altered. Stonehenge rates in the 80 percentile as it has been rebuilt at least twice in recent history. |

Gunnar Hiptmair commented, "The lichen on the stone shows that there is an airstream from below, which crawls through the cracks an enables the yellow sulfur-lichen to grow there. Airstream means tunnel, not just chamber, there is an underground world below, connected with tunnels in my opinion. A structure like this is a marker by itself . Best regards !" |
Julie Ryder at the Bolder Dolmen
The capstone of the Boulder Dolmen is perfectly balanced on the two vertical upright supports. This huge megalithic capstone rocks up and down when weight is applied to a strategic location by a person leaping on the dolmen from an adjacent boulder. The capstone is balanced on a small fulcrum point. |
